I haven't been on much lately. Life has gotten busy.
Hoping it will slow down soon and I can get back to crafting.
Happy Halloween!!

Happy Wednesday!!

I hope all of you are having a great week so far.
We're halfway to the weekend. These weeks are flying by, before you know it it will be Christmas again! I've already begun my Christmas shopping. I love to get it done early, so that I'm not rushing around at the last minute to buy presents.

Speaking of presents, here is a name frame I did for a baby dedication gift.
The butterflies are on the outside of the frame. I thought it looked better than having them smushed behind the frame. Gives it a great 3-D look.

Simple & Easy

Hello!

I hope that all of you are having a good week so far.
I've been busy and haven't gotten to spend much time in my craft room.
Here's a quick and easy card that I made last week.
No stamping on this one!
Just grab a nice piece of cardstock, matching ribbon, and a rub-on.
It doesn't get any easier than that!
Details:
Paper- Bazzill (sorry can't remember the name)
Ribbon- American Crafts (I'm loving wide ribbon right now!)
Rub-on- SU! (hard to read but it says I'm glad there is YOU)
And I'm glad there is YOU!!
Have a great night!

Happy Friday Eve!

I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday. This has been a slow week and I'm ready for the weekend!

Nichole Heady had a really pretty black&white project on her blog today. It was from a couple releases ago, but she wanted to showcase it again.

I decided to do a simple black and white card tonight. So here it is!

Just a simple one layer card with a little ribbon. How simple would it be to mass produce cards like this.

Details:
Stamps- Everyday Blessings-PTI
Paper- White Stamper's Select-PTI
Ink- Noir- Palette
Ribbon

Have a great evening!

Color Inspiration Challenge #2

**eta- Kristina posted up 40 cards using her color challenge and mine was included. It's pretty cool to see my card up on her site. She's definitely one of my paper crafting inspirations!**

Kristina Werner http://kwernerdesign.com/blog/ issued a color challenge using these colors- groovy guava, blush blossom, so saffron, & wild wasabi.

So, here is my card.

Details-
Stamps: Beautiful Blooms & Green Thumb- Papertrey Ink
Paper- Groovy Guava, Blush Blossom, So Saffron, & Wild Wasabi- SU!
Ink- Wild Wasabi- SU!; Versamark
Other- Twill ribbon- SU!; thread- Martha Stewart; Build a Brad-SU!; Clear Embossing Powder-SU!

You can barely see it, but I used Blush Blossom for my card base. I feel like the punched circle needs something, but couldn't figure out what to add, so I left it as is.

Have a great night!

Hello Again!

I'm back!!

I have really been missing being able to update my blog, but we're back online! :)

Here are the first set of cards for the Papertrey Ink swap over on SCS. It's being hosted by Jen. I can't wait to see everyone's cards. I've got my other set done, I'll upload that photo later this week.

Here is an Easter card I made for my grandmother.

Here is a card I made for my Dad. He's a Harley guy, so I found this stamp appropriate for him!
The little track at the bottom is actually a rub-on from SU!
I thought it made the card look great!

Here is a frame I made for my Mom.
I found the frame at Wal-Mart after emailing Beth Silaka (freckled fun) and asking her where she gets her frames. She makes the cutest name frames.

If you want details on any of these cards/frame, please leave me a comment and I'll get you the answers. Be sure to leave your email if you don't have a blog! Thanks!
Ahh, it's so nice to be back!

Now, I'm off to watch the movies I rented- Enchanted and Atonement. Anyone seen these??

Have a great night!
